The Vein Specialists Institute/About Face Medical Aesthetics are the practices of Kenneth H. Jesser, M.D. and is currently the largest solo practice in the Coachella Valley dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of varicose and spider veins of the legs, face, hands and body.

Dr. Jesser and his staff specialize in administration of cosmetic injectables, laser and light-based therapies featuring elōs® technology, and SmartLipo® laser-assisted liposuction. At Vein Specialists Institute/About Face Medical Aesthetics all our treatments are safe, effective and comfortable. Dr. Jesser regularly performs the EVLT procedure to correct the more severe manifestations of varicose vein disease, and is an expert at sclerotherapy, injection treatments used to eliminate unwanted spider veins and varicose veins of the legs, hands, face and body. Our non-surgical aesthetic treatments, which are physician administered, address the common cosmetic problems of the skin, including complexion, texture, volume loss, wrinkles, acne, acne scarring and unwanted facial and body hair. We strive to achieve the maximum achievable effects with little or no downtime.
Dr. Kenneth H. Jesser, our physician and founder is board-certified as a Vein Specialist by the American Board of Phlebology, and is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins Medical School. After completing residencies and receiving additional board certifications in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine he continued on to practice at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, CA for 14 yrs, from 1988-2003 while also serving as Medical Director of Emergency Services from 1992-1997. He subsequently received extensive postgraduate training in Phlebology, the medical specialty that treats vein disease. Dr. Jesser is among the first group of physicians internationally to meet the strict requirements of ethics, training and experience required to receive certification by the American Board of Phlebology.
